Side Scrolling Inspired Pixel Game
Hey! Just wanted to see what I could do with the tool, some photoshop, and a desire to learn how to animate a little. All elements are made by me!
There's not any sound yet, but I really enjoyed the process of just getting the things to happen. It's not perfect, but it makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too.
It will also give you a lot of fun facts for your next happy hour :)

Love the pixel style. And the gameplay. What could use some improvement is the movement. As it is now i miss the speedy gameplay of this kind of games. Clicking an arrow does not do justice to this kind of games. Using keys for the controls would improve that.
Thanks for the suggestion @Math! I'm not an animation expert so I'm still learning how to animate believably and program the movement. Definitely will give me something to work on in V2!
I really like the personal touch and the fact that you made all the elements yourself. The animations have a lot of heart, and it's great to see creativity fueling the learning process. Adding sound will bring even more life to it. Keep going, projects like this are what make pixel games feel so special. 😀
