Skip Video at beginning of the course IF they are revisiting the course in the LMS
I have a course where there is a 3 minute video they watch at the beginning. It gives the back story to the learner. I would like to know is there a way to AUTO skip the video based on a trigger that would know
"if the learner is revisiting the course and has already viewed the course or taken parts of it, they can opt to skip the video."
"if the learner has not fully viewed this video on Scene 1.3, then when they revisit the course at a later time they need to watch the video and cannot skip."
Any tips?
Thanks.

I would put a button to skip video. Make the button appear and become active at the end of the timeline. Then set the When revisit state to Resume saved state. This should solve your issues.

Thank you Eric. But that's precisely the issue. If I give them that button, then many many learners will skip it. I'm all about "if they don't need to watch it a 2nd time, then don't waste their time."

I'm not understanding. What is the wisdom for the button to show up at the end of the timeline? My current timeline is the duration of the video. Would I extend the slide timeline past the video and put the skip button after it? Or concurrently with the video in the last 5 seconds? I'm not following. Would the first time user not get confused as to why they are skipping the video in the last few seconds? Also how does the adding of a button impact the setting of revisit state to resume saved state? Thanks for help!
