SL3 issue: "Zoom Picture" is adding a grey border around the image

I've just installed the latest update (Sept 2019). This issue still isn't fixed.   :(

It has been over a year and a half since I reported this. How much longer will it be before this bug, which didn't exist in SL2, is fixed? Thank you for a definite answer which includes a completion date.

That is really a shame. We use - and pay -  Articulate because it is supposed to be an authoring tool, helping use to do what we want to do the way it is supposed to work. Not to do some workaround again and again. If you don't really support a functionnality anymore, you can try, I dont know... to remove it from the tool? Or de-activate it until it really works again? Or give the infos Ryal gave upthere: it only works with .png files with transparent background?
It's really a shame how long everything takes so long to get fix here.

I've installed the newest update (Jan 7 2020 version). This problem is still not fixed.

Thank you for checking in! I've tested this in Storyline 3 Update 9 (3.9.21069.0) and I don't see a grey border on the image.

If you're still seeing this, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Storyline 3.

Hi Lauren - Thank you for your help. I've just finished uninstalling and reinstalling SL3. The problem is exactly the same as I reported when I started this thread. It wasn't ever a problem in SL2.

➥ Note: Our process for developing Storyline 3 updates is different than it is for Storyline 360, so we aren't able to keep them in sync. We do occasionally release fixes between updates, but that can introduce risks so we undertake that only in limited circumstances.

I have installed the newest version. This problem, reported *YEARS* ago has still not been corrected.
