SL3 issue: "Zoom Picture" is adding a grey border around the image
"Zoom Picture" is adding a grey border around the image.
That is an actual screenshot showing the border it has added.

Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Build 3.109.36125.0, we've included essential fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- Rotated images with zoom enabled didn't display correctly.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

So a broken tool in the menu bar isn't a priority. As I mentioned before, it wasn't broken in Storyline 2. It was the upgrade to Storyline 3 that caused the problem.

Thanks for checking in! We are prioritizing other bug fixes at this moment so it hasn't made it on our current roadmap. If our team decides to reroute, we'll update you in this discussion.
When will this error be corrected?
I have installed the newest version. This problem, reported *YEARS* ago has still not been corrected.

My teammate, Chester, linked your file to this bug's report so we can update you on any changes.
➥ Note: Our process for developing Storyline 3 updates is different than it is for Storyline 360, so we aren't able to keep them in sync. We do occasionally release fixes between updates, but that can introduce risks so we undertake that only in limited circumstances.

Edit: Ok I've created a Storyline file with an example of the problem and uploaded it as a new case.

My team and I are seeing different results in Storyline 3 Update 9. Would you be willing to share a sample we can compare our testing and better understand what's causing the discrepancy?

Hi Lauren - Thank you for your help. I've just finished uninstalling and reinstalling SL3. The problem is exactly the same as I reported when I started this thread. It wasn't ever a problem in SL2.

Thank you for checking in! I've tested this in Storyline 3 Update 9 (3.9.21069.0) and I don't see a grey border on the image.

If you're still seeing this, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Storyline 3.
