Slide freezing in Review 360

Greetings,

My team is reviewing an orientation course this week. Everything was going smoothly, but now a trigger is not working on the first floor. When the hotspot is selected, the page freezes and won't load.

I checked in the Storyline file. It is correct, and it works fine when Previewed in Storyline.

I tried again, and noticed that if I start on other floors and open those first, the Floor 1 hotspot works fine. But if it is the first one I select, it freezes the entire course.

Everything is ready, but I can't publish a course that participants can't progress through. Ideas? I already deleted the triggers and made them again from scratch.

Navigating to the issue: Start the course and choose "Jump to Tour". Close the instructions layer and select either trigger to open the Emergency Department - can be the Hotspot over the Intercom button or the Unit title. Both should trigger the Emergency Department slide, but instead it locks up.

Again, please note that it runs fine when I use the Preview in Storyline. It only locks in Review 360, and only on this slide.

I tried the link in all three browsers with the same result.

Storyline file is too large to attach.

What happens when I trigger the first floor:

Thank you in advance.

    Two observations:

Try moving the first trigger to the topmost spot - one thing that I often forget is that the order in which the triggers appear is the order in which they are fired. So:

Second, you have the same trigger trying to fire twice. (The ??) My guess is that SL doesn't know how to process this correctly. So delete the second one and see whether it continues.

If these actions don't work, contact SL directly.

  • I had to change the order of those triggers because the state wasn't changing. Having the state change first shouldn't detain the slide from coming up.

It's not the same trigger firing twice. I have two options for users to click to get to the triggered slide.

I will submit a ticket. Thank you.
