Small Submit Button
Thanks for your feedback, Anthony! I’m glad the Submit button is now the correct size. The course size is expected to be adjusted along with the slide resolution. Feel free to play around with custom resolutions to find the width and height that will work for you and will not affect the size of the Submit button too much.
At this point, I recommend exploring the possibility of switching to Storyline’s Modern Player instead of the Classic Player. The Modern Player gives desktop and mobile learners a fresh, unified experience that’s consistent across all devices. It scales smoothly to fill learners’ browsers on every screen, large and small, and it’s easy to customize. Using the Modern player may also solve the Menu issue that you’re experiencing.
If you’d like to stick with the Classic player, we’d be happy to examine your Storyline project file to better understand your setup. You may share it here or privately by sending it along in a support case. We’ll delete it when we’re done testing.
Hello Anthony,
I'm happy to help! I understand that the Submit button in your Storyline course is small compared to the other slide objects. This usually happens when using a custom slide size with a large resolution. One way to solve the issue is to use the preset sizes. In your case, the preset 16:9 resolution as shown below.
Let me know how it goes, and I'll be more than happy to assist further.
Hi Eric.
Many thanks for that.
I've changed to the 16:9 which has sort of made the course (width and height) a bit smaller but the Submit button now appears to be the right size.
What I have noticed now is that if a learner clicks the Menu option (top right), the word Menu is cut off. I've no idea how to find the menu to make this adjustment.
Are you able to assist with this?
Thanks so much.
*Hopefully I can upload the 360 file for you to take a look at.
