"States" has disappeared from my options.
I was working in Storyline, editing states, and suddenly did not have the option to edit states. It is missing from the bottom of my screen, normally between Timeline and Notes. I have tried to open other courses, but they are all the same. I am current with all updates. Storyline 360 64-bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Like magic! It suddenly came back. I spend hours yesterday and again this morning looking for a setting that would fix it. I "previewed" a slide, and when I came back to it, "States" was back on my menu! I am confused, and relieved.
I'm glad it came back!
FYI: The States panel (as well as the Timeline, Notes, and Triggers panels) can be undocked.
The next time any of those seem to be missing, go to the VIEW ribbon, and click Redock All Windows. That brings them back into the main editing window.
