Still confused about complete course triggers.
Hello. I hope someone can help me out here. I have been updating a bunch of older courses here where I work, most of which are without quizzes. The courses are not advanced, it is one slide after another. When the user comes to the last slide, a "Complete Course" trigger fires off - and it works as it is supposed to ─ when the learner goes through all slides.
These courses have three scenes: An introduction, a general scene discussing rules and laws, and the third part where the subject matter lies. The two first scenes are the same for all courses (except for titles), so the course creator (not me) set up an option to skip the general part if the learner has gone through them in previous course.
The problem is that when the user clicks the skip-button, and eventually reaches the end slide ... well, the trigger doesn't seem to fire off.
I have only set up one "Complete Course"-trigger, in the belief that it wouldn't count the number of slides gone through, ie. that the trigger would fire off when the learner reaches it. If I set up an additional trigger and subtracts the slides in the general scene, won't that thwart the intention?
Is there a way to fire off the "Complete Course"-trigger even if the learner skips the general part?
Hope someone can help me out, and that I learn something new!

Do you get the same results, if your course complete trigger is "when the timeline starts"?

Well, isn't that what the second attachment shows it is?
Hello Bent,
Thanks for reaching out!
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can observe what's happening on our end? This will also give us a chance to take a closer look at how the course is configured. We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Hello Joe, thanks for replying. I think I have figured it out. I used SCORM Cloud to test, and there it worked as it was supposed to. So I looked around, and came to the conclusion that the error had to lie somewhere else ─ and it did. It was in the LMS, hence I fixed it and now it is ok. I learnt something along the way as well.
Thanks again for reaching out. It is good to know that I can get hold of staff personnel whenever a problem arises.

Correct - I see that now. Image was small on the phone - Have you considered submitting a case
