Storyline 360 crashing when I try to add a character

I am unable to add any character. The program freezes and the only evidence is a "The image can't be displayed" text next to a red X. I have cleaned out my temp files, uninstalled/restarted/reinstalled at least six times in the last hour and I've made no progress. I am working locally. I've submitted a ticket but am desperate to know if you were able to resolve this issue...?

Hi Cheryl -- I've been experiencing the same issues this past week.  Was the issue resolved and how was it resolved?  Thank you kindly.
