Storyline 360: Lost Connectivity Alert
Thank you. I understand what should happen moving forward. However, we have a training that people have already completed, but the LMS is not recording their pass/complete so republishing will not help them. I'm wondering what SL did before this change when learners lost connectivity.

Hi Rebecca,
This feature didn't previously exist in Storyline 360, (It did, but only for courses that were published in Flash format, which is no longer supported) so if the internet connectivity was disrupted while learners were taking a course then there's a chance that the attempt was not recorded in the LMS.

Thank you. Just so I understand – if someone was taking a training that was 2 hours long and 10 minutes into the class their internet connection dropped off but then reconnected – their score would not be recorded in the LMS when they completed the training?

Hi Rebecca,
Storyline 360 content is preloaded, so an attempt will not be recorded in an LMS only when there is no internet connectivity at the moment the course tries to connect to the LMS to send data. You can know more about what your course is sending to your LMS by enabling the debug logs:
And if you have any specific questions about what your course is connecting to the LMS in the background, feel free to reach out to our support team here for additional assistance.
