Storyline 360 Question Bank Answer Overlap

Hello All!

I am having a complication that I'm not sure how best to resolve. I'm using Articulate Storyline 360 and have created a Question Bank. I then set up a "Draw from Question Bank" and have it correctly including the correct number of random questions. However, some of my multiple choice options are rather long, and it's resulting in the answers occasionally overlapping like so:

I have tried to change the font size and the line spacing in the Slide Master, but that hasn't helped.

Does anyone have any ideas how I might resolve this? My goal is to allow the answer options to be distributed across the remainder of the slide not taken up by the Question.

  • I couldn't recreate that problem.

I started with this question slide:

Here's how it looked when the responses were shuffled in Preview:

I tried some different Format Text Box settings, but the responses never overlapped.

You could set the Shuffle function to None. They would always appear in the same order, but they would maintain the spacing you give them.

Frankly, I recommend rewriting your responses so that no response is dramatically longer than the others. They should all be approximately the same length. When there is one long, detailed response, it's too obvious as the correct answer.
