Storyline 360 Resume Issue in Branching (Test-Out + Full Modules)

Hello everyone,

My training has a branching structure with two paths:

Test-Out Path

• Learners take a quiz for each module
• If they pass → proceed to next module’s test-out

Full Module Path

• They can opt to choose full if they are not confident with testing out
• If they fail a test-out module → redirected to the test-out module they failed
• At the end of the full module they failed → they take a quiz before proceeding to the next test-out module

This applies across 7 modules.

Issue

When testing:

1. I progress through the course normally (e.g., reach Module 5)
2. I exit the course mid-progress
3. I relaunch and click Resume

👉 Instead of returning to Module 5,
I’m taken back to an earlier module (e.g., Module 3)

Why is Storyline resuming to an earlier module instead of the last visited slide?
