Storyline block in Rise is low quality.
Why does my Interactive Storyline block appear low quality in Rise? The video embedded in the Storyline file is 1080p HD, but it doesn’t seem to retain that quality once it's uploaded to the Storyline block in Rise.
On smaller screens, this isn’t noticeable, but on larger displays, the drop in quality is quite apparent.
I’ve already tried disabling adaptive quality and setting it to the highest possible, but that hasn’t resolved the issue.

Hi MAWH!
Happy to share some insight on this!
When authors publish Storyline content and embed it as a Block in Rise, the video may not look as sharp as it does in the standalone version. Rise dynamically resizes Storyline Blocks to fit different screen sizes. However, this scaling may soften the resolution of media, especially on larger displays.
Also, Storyline automatically compresses videos during publishing. Even with Adaptive Quality disabled, this compression can reduce the perceived sharpness during playback. I understand you've already adjusted the video quality setting to the maximum value when publishing. In addition to that, we also suggest setting your Slide size to a large ratio (e.g. 1920x1080) before inserting your video in Storyline. This can help reduce the amount of scaling Rise would need to do during playback.
Let me know how it goes!
