Storyline: Hand cursor during shape hover - Can I stop this?
I would add a hotspot without a trigger behind all of your shapes this way the whole slide will have a mouse cursor change
That's brilliant and simple! Worked great for me.
Even when "show hand cursor on hover" is toggled on, the hand is not showing when I mouse over the hotspot in Preview mode. Any idea why?

I am not sure Phil is still subscribed to this discussion, but I'm happy to help. It sounds like "Show Hand Cursor on Hover" is toggled on but not working in Preview mode. Is it working as expected in the published output?
This doesn't work for me. The hotspot does not produce the hand icon if there is no trigger attached to it.
I can replicate this... in fact, I can't seem to get a hand cursor even when I do have a trigger attached to the hotspot. Weird, maybe a bug?

I'm not sure Phil is subscripted to this discussion after all this time, but I'm happy to pop in and assist! I understand that the "Show Hand Cursor on Hover" is toggled in your course, but it isn't working as expected.
- Where are you experiencing this? Is this working in Preview?
- If it's working as expected in Preview, could you share more information about your publishing output?
- Do you notice any change in behavior if you import your current slides into a brand new .story file?
It would be helpful to take a closer look at your file. You can share your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case.
