Storyline hangs when publishing to Word

Hi Folks,

I'm using Storyline in Windows 8 and when publishing to Word (2010), the dialog box says that it's publishing slide x of y, but then it just hangs. Other factors: The .story file I'm working on is small - just 7 slides, Two of the slides have multiple layers, Word is closed when I publish.

Please advise.

    I seem to have the same/similar problem. I have to export a Storyline 360 course to Word - which simply won't work. When I choose Word as an export option it initially runs through but then, at the end, just freezes (s. attached pic). I have to shut down Storyline via task manager as nothing further happens.
    I havbe tried it with different courses, non of which work...
