Storyline Menu checkmarks

Hello, The storyline menu places a checkmark next to the slide that the user is currently viewing. Is there a way to change that so that the checkmark doesn't appear until the slide has been viewed in full? We have free navigation, but want people to know which slides they have/have not fully watched.

Thanks!

  • Hello Sherri,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There isn't a way to modify the behavior of when the checkmarks appear right now, but we are currently tracking the demand for this change through a feature request. I've added your voice to the report so we can notify you when this feature gets released!

Let me know if we can help you with anything else.

      Hi,

I know this case is old, but this seemed like the best thread to mention the following; Tick marks should show up when a user has completed a "lightbox" also. I have some lightboxes that explain details (available from clicking a button on the main slide) but after a user views the lightbox, no tick mark (checkmark) is recorded on the menu on the left. What is worse, that chapter (that contains one or more lightboxes) does not get a checkmark either. Please make sure this is added to the feature request to enhance the control of tick marks. thank you.
