Storyline Quiz Screen Reader Navigation
I'm updating an old course to be fully acccessible. I'm using the NVDA screen reader to do my testing.
When I select an incorrect answer on a quiz, after I select the Try Again button, it automatically reads off the Submit button next. When I Arrow Down it takes me away from the slide to the Side Bar Menu, and not back onto the slide to change my answer.
What am I doing wrong? Should I not be using the down arrow after I select the Try Again button? Attached is a video of this, and in the Revew comments is a screen shot of the focus order.

Hi Melanie!
It sounds like you've hit a snag when navigating your Storyline course with the NVDA screen reader. Happy to help with this!
I tested the behavior on my end using a sample multiple-choice question slide, with the current version of NVDA. After selecting Try Again with the Enter key, I was able to navigate from the Try Again window back to the question slide by using the Tab key.
- Here's a quick screen recording sharing my results!
The Up and Down arrow keys allow a learner to highlight different multiple-choice answers, however, the learner must use the Tab key to return focus back to the question slide itself.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
