Storyline repeatedly crashes when recording videos
On several occasions my fellow Instructional Designer and myself have experienced Storyline CRASHING when recording a video. I have noticed that if I try to insert the video into an existing Scene, it will Crash. As a work around I have to create the video in a new scene, and then drag it to the scene I want it in. This is causing our manager concern. The rework to set up each video is extensive. The time is costing our client money. I have seen that the solution to this issue is to reinstall Storyline. I'm hesitant to do this because I have spent a great deal of time creating custom theme colors and I don't want to have to do that again from scratch.
As a work around when recording videos I have tried closing most other programs, this doesn't seem to help.
I have tried restarting my computer, which is a hassle as then I have to reopen all the other programs and reset the content of the video file. We are working on a Windows 10 platform. Anyone have any suggestions?

Apparently, it's happening again. Storyline 360 crashes every time the screen recording button is clicked.

It's happening to me too. Task manager is keeping storyline running in the background, but I can't open it to save or see what is causing the crash. Sometimes getting the unexpected error but not always. Lots of screen recording errors happening to me in the last couple of weeks, extremely frustrating. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but will be raising a support ticket, assuming it's a bug if we're both seeing it.
