Storyline Scorm Lesson not working in Blackboard
Hello All,
I have an instructor using Storyline SCORM lessons copied over from a previous course in Blackboard 9.1. The lessons do not open at all now, instead we get an error message:
The error is:
No scormbbpackageinfo row found for content id _486251_1
Anyone know how I should proceed to correct this issues considering we do not have access to the original project files to re-import?? I appreciate your valuable very appreciated help in advance.

Hi Jennifer,
Do you not have access to the original .story file or the published output folder, or both? I don't know of a specific way to export the contents from Blackboard to start a new course, so you may want to reach out to the Blackboard support folks to see if they have thoughts.
If you have the original .story file you could republish to ensure all the files are included, and if you have the original published output folder, you could test loading that up into Blackboard or into another site such as SCORM Cloud to test how it behaves.

Thank you Ashley for getting back to me. I am afraid I don't have either .story file or output folder. Is Storyline SCORM objects not intended to be copied from course to course? I am really shocked if that is truely the case...
Hi Jennifer,
I'm not sure I'm clear on what you mean about copying from course to course. Each .story file is designed to be published for LMS as a SCORM object, but we don't support having multiple SCOs in one course. I don't know the set up within Blackboard, and haven't seen such an error message - but I'd defer to Blackboard in terms of what the error may mean and ways in which you could conduct a copy of creation of a duplicate version of the course.

I am having the same issue. What is weird is that I have other SCORM modules that work but new ones I have created work but then when a new instance is created the modules long longer work. I am getting the "No scormbbpackageinfo row found for content id...." messages too now. I have the story.html file and the output files.
Hi Frank,
If you have the original files, did you look at republishing the .story file and then uploading into your LMS? You may also want to look at testing it in SCORM Cloud which is a industry standard for testing SCORM output and you can review the article here on how to upload for testing.

We've had issues for years with Articulate files in copied Blackboard courses. I'm not sure if this is unique to our instance of Bb but, depending on the version of Bb, we've seen only the player.html or presentation.html file copy to the new course, or we've had to manually change permissions on the Articulate folder to grant access to all course users. (Here's our blog post on this.) Either of these scenarios typically present as a blank white screen when students attempt to view the module. Add SCORM to the mix and it doesn't surprise me that you're getting an error.
We use the Content System on Blackboard, and can easily see what files/permissions exist in the copied course. You should be able to see this if you have access to Course Files, however for Articulate content this is only true if you publish to Web, not LMS. When the files are published for web and uploaded to Blackboard I can download the package from the original course and upload to the new one, so not having the source file isn't an issue. I'm not sure where SCORM content lands in Blackboard because I haven't been able to locate it in the Content System. I know this doesn't help for now, but since the uploaded SCORM package doesn't seem to be downloadable from the original Blackboard course, in the future it might be a good idea to upload as SCORM for the students and also store the published zip file in the Bb Content System/Course Files. That way you'll have a backup copy that you can use when the course is copied.
Thanks Elizabeth for sharing that here and it also looks like you're using Studio vs. Storyline, so I just wanted to point that difference out to Frank.

I use both. Most of our older files and those created by faculty were built using Studio, but the problem is the same on Blackboard with learning material that I've developed in Storyline. In fact, all of our SCORM learning material was developed in Storyline. Thanks for pointing that out, though! I should have mentioned the story.html file too. :)
No worries Elizabeth - just wanted to make sure in case anyone else came across this thread or Frank was reading through.

Our SCORM modules work fine in blackboard - but they will not copy when we need to duplicate a course for another school/organisation. Does anyone have a fix for this?
