Storyline Text Entry Field for Rise Course

TLDR: I can resize a Storyline slide. Is it possible to resize the actual story?

I'm working on a Rise course, which doesn't have a open text entry field for learners to type reflections (which the client wants). I was able to create one in Storyline using the text entry question slide. I deleted the feedback layers and removed the submit button (that might have been a mistake). The function is they are asked a question, they type in the field and then select the Rise continue button. The size of the slide and the text box is 250x100 (can't go lower than 100). I'm having a few issues but this one is about what gets published. I've attached a screen shot of what I'm talking about. It's an image of the text box in the course and there are arrows that point to the extra space above and below the text box. I would like to remove all of the extra white space.
