If you check your file the text entry field size and position is set 1x1 and -971x22 so it is almost invisible and not on the slide, you can reposition it and it will then show
That was it sure enough! Very strange because I had not interacted with the text entry field at all after importing the screen recording, so by default, Storyline made it 1 pixel and far outside of the visible slide content. Great catch!
