Storyline to readable PDF

Hi guys,

I am hoping someone can help me, Our compliance team needs us to provide a PDF version of our course that is WCAG compliant.

The course is designed in Articulate Storyline. The compliance team basically wants the user to be able to search any text in the PDF, is there a way I can save the course like this.

I have tried to export to MS Word and then save as PDF but everything ends up as a screenshot with only the slide titles as text.

Please help.

Thank you.

  • Hi Kelvin!

If you use the 'Notes' panel next to the Timeline and States panel in your projects and populate the notes panel with the wording presented in each slide, when you publish to MS Word all of your content for each slide will be added there too... So then you can covert it to a PDF.

  • Any update on this issue? Rise courses can be easily saved as readable pdf's, any update on when older Storyline courses will be this easy to print to searchable pdf?

      Hi JoanneBentley-b,

Thanks for sharing your input! I’ve added your voice to the feature request for publishing from Storyline 360 to PDF.

You might also like to bookmark the Articulate 360 Feature Roadmap. It’s a great way to stay up-to-date on what we’re building and what’s coming soon. Although we don’t provide exact timelines, it’s regularly updated with what’s in progress and what’s next.

Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week!

Thanks that's awesome! Make sure that it's a text readable PDF, images of the screens is just not that helpful. Thanks for your quick reply.
