I made some changes to your project file to achieve your design requirements.
- Disabled unnecessary triggers.
- Added missing triggers to automatically hide slide layers when the timeline of the layer ends.
- Adjusted slide layer properties so that the base layer is paused whenever a layer is shown.
I've attached an edited version of your file so you can see how the new slide behaves. If you preview the slide, the layers now automatically close and open depending on where you are in the timeline. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you so much! I ended up trying so many different things that I think I had left a lot of unnecessary triggers in there from "trial and error" (mostly "error")!😂
