Stretched out Story View Diagrams
For no apparent reason that I am aware of, when I add slides at the start of a scene, I get these exceedingly stretched out Story View diagrams. The attached example is mildly moderate - most are worse.
After adding more scenes, things fall into vertical order as they should.
I do not understand how to compress the Story View layout so I don't have to scroll left and right to see the flow in a single view.
Thank you in advance - Frank

Hello FrankKarns,
Happy to help! Thank you for sharing the screenshot.
It appears that slide 6.3 does not have branching, and the arrows in Story View are not displaying as expected. Since this is happening in multiple places, I recommend starting with some initial troubleshooting steps to rule out any issues with the Storyline installation.
If you're already working on your local drive, try running these steps to address potential installation problems. If the issue persists, we'd be happy to investigate further. You can share the affected Storyline project here or privately through a support case.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Greetings, Eric.
I checked the trouble shooting page you included and I cannot see anything that I am doing that would cause an installation or storage problem.
Attached is a photo of my screen with a different scene. A screen grab would be too big a file and would not demonstrate the degree to which the diagram is stretched. You can see how wide the Story View window is just to be able to include the two columns of slides even at this small size. To get the slide icons large enough to understand what they are, the Story View window has to be stretched entirely across my 47" display!
Hi FrankKarns,
Please try importing your slides into a new Storyline 360 project to see if this helps fix the issue. To prevent formatting issues, make sure the old and new project files use the same slide size. If the problem persists, I'd go with Eric's suggestion of sharing your project file with us to check what's causing the slides to shift away from each other in Story View.
Let us know how it goes!

Thank you, everyone, for your comments. I will live with the funny Story View diagrams for a short time until after I meet a deadline. Afterwards, if I haven't figured it out by then, I'll open a case file.
BTW, I am truly impressed with the response time and quality of help I have gotten on this site.
