Struggling with auto playing a slide

I’m hoping someone can help. I have a Storyline project with one slide containing multiple layers, but it will not automatically advance to the next slide.

I deleted and recreated all the triggers to determine whether something was blocking the action, but the issue continues. Now, even the Next button will not advance the slide.

I’m very new to Storyline (this is my first project) so I’m hoping someone may have encountered this issue before. I would greatly appreciate any help or insight!

Best,

Lara

I actually meant the .story file, so we can open it and take a look at the triggers. However, I had a look at the review link and the slide did advance but it did take a couple of seconds until it happened. So my guess would be that maybe the timeline of the base layer is too long? You can drag the grey line at the end to where you need it to be or right-click where the numbers are and use "reset timeline to default" if you only have one audio on the slide:

      Hope this helps!

I believe you have a trigger on the last layer: “Jump to slide next slide when the timeline ends on this layer.” If your timeline looks similar to the one in the screenshot below, make sure you drag the end of the timeline to match the point where the audio element ends.

Or, simply change the trigger to: “Jump to slide next slide when the media completes (Audio).”
