Stuttering/Jerky Playback Caused By Fade Transition

For anyone who stumbles on this thread in the meantime, I added a short frame hold/freeze frame (less than 1 second) at the beginning of my videos before adding them to Storyline for a temporary fix. Now, when the videos start, they're a lot less jerky, because of the lack of immediate movement. This isn't a realistic solution for everyone/everything, but it might be something people can do if they have the same issue and need a fix immediately.
