Table column width

I have a number of tables in my rise microlearning.

I want to increase the width of the end column for each table since it contains majority of the text.

When I select and drag the edge of the column it does nothing. Why is this?

  • Hi jsohpal! What you're seeing is expected behavior in Rise 360. Table columns are responsive and automatically adjust based on screen size, so they can’t be manually resized by dragging.

If most of your content is in the last column, you might try:

    • Reducing the number of columns
    • Shortening content in other columns
    • Using a different block type (like Accordion or Process) if the layout is text-heavy

Tables work best when the content is fairly balanced across columns. Let us know how yours is structured if you'd like suggestions!

    Hi LaurenDuvall,

Many thanks for getting back to me on my query. I figured this was the case as I had a good play around with the table and it just makes sense that this is how it is supposed to work.

For the purpose of what I am trying to do in my microlearning I have implemented a work around because I am unable to amend the data in the tables. I have screenshoted each row of the table and added each screenshot as a centred image block which seems to be good enough.

    Regards
