Text alignment changing after publication
I've had problems with text moving around after publication in Presenter, and it appears there's a similar issue in Storyline.
I have a couple shapes with text that are aligned to the middle of the shape. But when I preview or publish the text drifts upwards. Doesn't looks so good.

Hi Peter,
His story file is above. I downloaded it and played with it myself, but couldn't replicate what he was experiencing.

Thanks, Adrian
I got the same thing as you. I'm hoping he can submit a case so our engineers can take a look.

hi,
i am also getting the same problem on my side.
i make sure that the text entry object is positioned where i want it to be.
but when i preview it or publish, it is not where it should be.
i dont understand why this is happening. It seems that in some slides the alignment is proper. but there are several slides too with this problem.
i hope that someone can figure it out and give a solution.
thanks,

hi,
by the way, the concerned questions are inside a question bank, not in a regular slide in a scene.
i dont see this problem in a regular slide scene.
i also noticed that the behavior of subscripts are intermitent in the same situation, that is, when viewing it converts the subscript to regular size. would any know why this is happening?
thanks,
caesar
Hi Caesar! I wanted to share the resolution that was sent to Steve when he had his issue:
You may find that text shifts position ever so slightly when published. To troubleshoot, please try the following solutions:
OPTION 1
Uninstall and reinstall the Articulate font as described on the link below.
http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=fnu173yqp9qx
OPTION 2:
Justify the text (rather than using Left, Center, or Right alignment). Justified text maintains positional data better during conversion than does Left, Center, or Right aligned text.
Note: If your justified text includes underlined characters, you may find that the underline gets broken between words when published. This is because text justification is designed to stretch characters to fill the width of a text box, but underlined characters do not get stretched to fill the extra spacing. If this occurs, replace the extra spaces with underscore characters and republish.
OPTION 3:
Export the text as a PNG image (right-click the text box, and select "Save as Picture"). Then delete the text box, and import the saved image in its place. If this does not work for you, please submit a case with your .story file so that support can look into this for you.

Hello,
I've got a problem with text containing variables. The left-margin doesn't work:

I attached the project-file. Does anyone have a solution?
thanks, Martin
Hi Martin!
Thanks for the details and for sharing an example file for me to take a look at.
This is an issue that has been reported to our support team.
I will update them with your issue as well and will flag this thread for update when applicable.
Thanks again.

Has there been any movement on this bug? I'm trying to align the user-entered text in a Text Entry field. I set it as aligned middle, but every time I preview it, it aligns top.
