Text disappearing
Can someone tell me, please what's going on. When I type text in a text box all is well until I hit the return key to format the second line. The end of the first line disappears. HELP??? THANK YOU!! pics attached
Interestingly it all appears in preview mode???
It is now 2021 and this issue has again appeared. Fortunately, I kept this discussion, removed the tabs in my text and all is well. It does still seem to be an issue. Is there any progress on fixing this bug?

This bug fix hasn't made it on our roadmap as we are currently prioritizing other bug fixes for upcoming Storyline 3 releases.

Thank you Lauren. It appears to be directly connected to using the tab key in a text box.

Hi Jurgen, thanks for your quick response. I've uploaded it here, had to remove all reference to the client so it's fairly blank but it's the Critical Control definition area where it goes funny. Thanks for looking!
yes, I have the same strange behavior on my 2 storyline installations (2 complete different computer)
regardless of whether I have installed the "multi" and "permanent marker" fontsthe error survives copying the table to an empty document (with and without installed fonts)
this would be worth for a support ticket, but i don't think articulate will fix the problem
Update: I had a look direct in the sourcefile: this is some format info of one table cell
FirstLineMargin="-5.625" CustomTabStops="223.3125" SpacingAfter="3.375"
<ListStyle ListType="None" ListTypeFormat="Parentheses" BulletFont="Arial" />can it be, that there was bullet text (-> ListStyle) in the cell and then it was later deleted?
was the original table imported from another program (-> CustomTabStops)?
