Text-to-speech editor showing wrong text
Hi Everyone,
I have some great news to share!
We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.126.38052.0, we’ve included essential fixes. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- Closed captions for AI text-to-speech weren't updated after the narration was edited
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported.
Hi EmmaGirton,
Sorry to hear that you're unable to edit existing Text-to-Speech in Storyline.
I haven't seen any recent reports of this occurring, and I'm unable to replicate the same issue when testing in version 3.119.37125.0. It's possible the behavior is local to your environment, and I have some follow-up questions to help us troubleshoot this better.
- Are you referring to AI-Assisted Text-to-Speech or our standard TTS tool?
- Are you working with locally-stored .story files? Authoring directly from a network drive can introduce unexpected behavior such as this.
- Have you tried importing the slides into a new project file to see if that improves the issue?
If you're still having trouble, and a repair of your Storyline installation doesn't do the trick, it would be helpful to see a copy of the affected .story file. Do you mind uploading your project here in the discussion or privately through a support case?
