Text-to-speech (TTS) now working...differently after update?
Oh boy. I'd also like to know why Articulate also decided to change the slide transition without letting me know. I am moving 1,000+ slides into Storyline and want consistency. The software "update" made a decision for me and used a random transition pattern. Not cool.

Hi we are aware of the issue and will be fixing it so that when you click the TTS button in the ribbon, it won’t default to Laura. A workaround for now though is to click an existing TTS (from the list on the left) and click “New Voiceover”, and then it will keep the voice the same and even all the advanced settings. I hope that helps for now!

Thanks. Happy to learn that this is not a feature! I've seen folks asking about being able to change the voice, so the new TTS feature is almost certainly a good idea. I'm unlikely to need to do so many slides again, but a bulk import from PowerPoint and converting speaker notes to speech would be a good feature instead of the days I've spent (recognizing that, again, this is not a task I'm likely to face often).

Hi NikkiMedina,
Great to see that Annie has been helping you.
As she mentioned, we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline. This bug prevents the Text-to-Speech UI from defaulting to the most recently used voice. I've included your voice in the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is ready. We appreciate your patience, and I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
I've also submitted a feature request on your behalf to support bulk importing of speaker notes in Storyline. We'll be sure to let you know if we release a future update that helps.
