Thumbnails in Slide View

Somehow the thumbnails on the left when I am in slide view have become tiny.  I can't find a control to restore them to a better size. Thanks.

This keeps happening and I dont use a mouse, i use a touch pad and it doesn't work.

    Other suggestions?

  • Hi Jim,

This discussion is a bit older - so let's start from the beginning for you!

What version of storyline are you using? Is it the scene view on the left that is displaying small or the slide itself? The slide view has a zoom slider, in the lower-right corner of your screen. Drag it to the right to zoom in or to the left to zoom out.

The scene view on left may minimize how the slides appear to present more of them to you while viewing the scene or story view.

Let me know if you need anything else, and if you wanted to share some screenshots of what you're seeing that would help too!

  • Happy to hear that Jim! Looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email! No worries, this Peek video will show you how to remove it if you don't want it here in the public forums

My thumbnails do not even appear in S-360 when I click View --> Slide view. What am I doing wrong?

  • Hi, Joseph, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨

When you say the thumbnails don't appear, do you mean they are blank, or is the panel not showing?

If you do not see the panel, can you try going to View > Redock All Windows ?

You can also manually change the size of the Scenes panel:
