Timed Quiz - Not recording all answers if time runs out

Hi,

I have created a timed quiz using Storyline 2. However, the result slide only takes into account the question slides that have been viewed up to the point the quiz times out and gives the pass rate from this, even though the quiz still has multiple questions left to be answered. Therefor the student thinks they have passed, when infact they have failed. I want it to record the questions that the student hasn't accessed yet as wrong to give an accurate overall result.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Amy

  • Hi Christina,

This conversation is a bit dated and the users were using Storyline 2.

Hi, I am using SL 360 and have the same problem with a timed test. If the test times out the result is out of the questions taken not the total questions. Was there ever any resolution to this problem.

      Hi Ward!

I wanted to update this discussion to share that we aren't seeing this bug, unattempted questions in question banks are not included in the computation for cumulative score when timer expires in a timed quiz, in our latest version of Storyline 360 (Build 3.61.27106.0).

If others are running into this bug, please make sure you're using the latest version of Storyline 360. You can reach our team in this discussion or privately in a support case.
