Timed Quiz - Timer resets when pressing Retry

How would you setup your retry button so that the student can re-take the quiz twice and so that the timer does not reset when the quiz restarts? I can't find any answers on this forum an...

In Storyline 360, the timer is only valid for a single attempt, which is why the clock resets when a learner retries. I'll open the floor to our community, for suggestions on creating a custom timer to prevent the clock from resetting during a retry!
