Timeline palette stuck off screen
I clicked the icon to pop out the Timeline into a standalone "window". It opened at the very top of my screen with the top controls off screen. I cant get it back or get to the control functions. I've restarted, tried a new document... it's stuck. HELP!

After posting I found "Redock all Windows" . All is better now.
Hi Jef! Glad that you were able to find the solution and thank you for popping in to share and update :)

All, my issue is that the window is covering the top tabs so I am unable to get to the "redock windows" fix. Any ideas?

Nevermind. I was able to move the window enough to get to the View tab. Whew!
Hi Lindsay,
Thanks for the update - and when you undock the windows you should be able to move them around your screen and even onto another monitor, so hopefully that's what you were able to do.

Hello,
I am having the same issue. I have some work-arounds in order to get my window back to a usable position, however, How do i prevent this from happening. Every time I pop out the timeline after a fresh startup of storyline 2, this happens. Its quite annoying. The timeline window, when popped out, goes to the top of the screen, then slightly off screen to the point i can not move it.
I fix it by adjusting my second monitor to be "above" my main monitor and can thus reach up and move the timeline window. But i feel this shouldnt be happening in the first place. And i dont want to have to do this every time i use Storyline.
Hi David,
I'm not sure I"m clear on how it's appearing above your Storyline UI and then is inaccessible? It sounds somewhat similar to an issue our team is investigating in that moving the panels around can cause them to get lost, and you can always use the "redock" option within the top of the Storyline interface to find them again. Also what version/update of Storyline and Windows are you using?

Here is a screenshot of what is happening. I should be on the latest version of Storyline, i just downloaded it last week. Using the latest Win 7. The image shows the top edge of my screen. You can see how the timeline window is above the top edge of the screen. This is where it automatically appears when i click the pop out button.
