Title text on slide moves when I enter text, applying layout again fixes it

Hi,

So I have setup a slide master with a title text box and positioned it and setup the font etc.

Now when I go back to the normal view of the slide, when I enter text into this title text box it moves slightly. But if I reapply the layout again the box moves back to where it should be. The box moves again if I edit the text and I have to apply the layout again.

Anyway to stop this happening?

    HI Kelly,

    Sometimes when the AUTOFIT features are enabled (As they are by default with Storyline Text Boxes) then this can cause the position to move slightly. That might be what you are finding.

    Try turning the AUTOFIT setting (found under the FORMAT > TEXT BOX menu, when you right click the text asset) to "Do not autofit"
    Does that help at all?

    If not, then you could try using a rectangle shape and EDIT TEXT inside that, rather than a Text Box. This is handled in a different way by Storyline, so may help your specific situation.
