TOC Menu and Branching
Branching scenarios are great for learning. As you discovered, though, they don't work well in the built-in Menu.
I suggest keeping the initial slide of a scenario in the Menu, but deleting the branches. That way, if someone wants to return to the scenario, they have to go to its start. (Ideally, they'd be able to retake it.)
- IMHO, the SMEs should go through the scenario using different answers. However, if they complain about wanting access to every slide, you could create a temporary slide that accesses the slides hidden from the Menu. Then lightbox that slide from a Player tab. ( TIP: Create Custom Player Tabs for Your Resources, Glossary, and More | Articulate - Community )

By the way, also consider moving the Menu so it's opened via a Player tab on top of the slides (instead of being in a panel on the left). To me, that makes it accessible but unobtrusive.

That's a great idea to delete the branching from the menu! I totally agree with you about SMEs following the navigation pathing. Like the learners, they discover things and it messes up your intention.
How do you set the menu to open on the Player Tab? Do you have an image of that JudyNollet ?
Use the arrow buttons to move the Menu from the Sidebar to the Topbar.
