I see this is an old thread, but it looks like @Amanda never got her answer?  I am having the same issue.  Also with a checkmark not showing up. Also have references showing "true" and also have used this in a different course where it worked.  I am not sure resetting to initial state means or if that worked?

Hi Kristin

If you have the revisit properties of the slide set to 'reset to initial state' then that's what may be happening. Change to 'resume saved state' and see what happens.

If  it's still not working happy to take a look if you can share the .story file.

    Actually, I replaced the image that wasn't appearing on cue with a different image (both from the content 360 library) and everything worked fine. I am not sure what was happening, but all is good now. Thanks!
