Turn off "show until end" as default when inserting new images

Does anyone know if I can turn off the "show until end" functionality when I'm inserting images. I rarely want my images to show until end and have to turn that off and then adjust the d...
Please add this feature. Colossal waste of time when you have some longer objects (like a video) and only need an image to pop up for a second and you have to drag it across the entire timeline. It's quite frustrating and can't believe these options are simply missing.
