Turn off spelling auto correction
I was trying to enter a two letter symbol (tp) with the p sub scripted to represent pessimistic time in a PERT example. Storyline kept changing it to "to" automatically. I instructed the spell checker to add tp to the dictionary, but Storyline still kept automatically correcting the symbol to "to". How can I turn off the auto-correct feature?
PS: How come Storyline is not in your dictionary?

Michael,
I don't see a "here" to find the info.
Hi Frank,
If you're viewing it in your email you may not see that Michael hyperlinked to this article: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-2/articles/setting-articulate-storyline-options

Why has Rise started auto-guessing words? It's driving me mad, every start of sentence it guesses and inserts a word after I've typed just a few letters and then places the rest of my word as I type in front of its guessed word . . . . so I get a jumble of letters. It is happening on every interactive block I try to use and when I delete and try to re-type the word I want . . . . it does it again - argghhhhh

Hello, can you probably share the resolution of the ticket? why is there auto-correct and how to switch it off?
Hi Nadya! Sorry you're running into some trouble with spell checkers. If you're having trouble with auto-correct/spellcheck with Rise 360, this is probably due to a browser setting or browser add-on.
Rise 360 doesn't have a built-in spell check feature at this time. Please see the following instructions based on our supported Rise 360 browsers:
How to disable Spell Check in Google Chrome:
- Go to the settings for Google Chrome.
- Click the Menu icon at the top right corner of the browser. ...
- Click Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- Click Language and input settings.
Make sure the check box next to Enable spell checking is unchecked, and then click Done.
How to disable Spellcheck for Safari:
- Go to the Edit menu.
- Select “ Spelling and Grammar” and on the submenu.
- Check if the “Correct Spelling Automatically” option is selected.
How to disable Spellcheck for Firefox:
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences. Click the menu button and select OptionsPreferences. ...
- In the General panel, go to the Language section.
- Uncheck Check your spelling as you type.
- Close the about:preferences page
Please try those out and if those don't help, please submit a case to our Support Engineers so we can get you sorted!
