Two final quizzes in Rise 360
As I understand it, you have two branches in your course. Each branch has a quiz. After each quiz, you want the course to go to a lesson with a Storyline block. The Storyline block will be used for completion.
Are you using Rise quizzes?
If so, it won't work. I've been in contact with support about this type of branching. If both quizzes are set to require a passing score to continue, the branch 1 users will be able to continue after they pass their quiz. Unfortunately, the branch 2 users won't, because Rise sees both quizzes as required, and the branch 2 user hasn't passed the branch 1 quiz yet.
It will work if you have the quizzes in Storyline blocks.
- On the success layers of the Results slides, put a "Complete course when the timeline starts on this layer" trigger.
- When you publish each quiz to Review 360, set the tracking so it only tracks via the completion trigger. (When a Storyline block is published to track via quiz results, Rise considers the block completed when the user reaches the Results slide. It doesn't care whether or not the user passed.)
- Put a locked Continue divider after each Storyline-block quiz. After that, put a Button block that jumps to the final lesson with the final Storyline completion block.
Here's my post about Rise branching:

Hey Judy, thanks so much for taking the time to explain this.
You are right, I am using Rise quizzes as the summative assessments for both branches. I didn't realise that Rise treats all quizzes as required for completion, regardless of branching.
Your Storyline workaround is really helpful. I had not considered moving the assessments into Storyline, mainly because one of my goals with this project was to lean on Rise to speed up development and keep things lightweight. Still, it helps to know this is not a configuration issue I am missing, but a limitation of how Rise currently handles branching and quiz completion.
The workaround is not ideal, but at least now I know I am not chasing a fix that does not exist.
Thanks again. Your explanation saved me a lot of trial and error!

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. 😊
By the way, I submitted a feature request about this. I think it should be possible to proceed after passing any quiz in any order. A quiz in a previous lesson shouldn't be required to proceed in a later lesson if the user is allowed to branch to that later lesson.
If you want to add your voice to that request, you can do so here:
