Unable to get rid of padding and set background color to "none" on Storyline Block
The Storyline Block in Rise has a peculiar behaviour. Looks like bugs.
There seems to be no way to set the background or canvas color to "none":
But the bigger problem, is that I can't get rid of padding on top and bottom of block.
Anyone else have these issues?

Still an issue. Hoping to hear this is going to be made a priority at some point.
Thanks for chiming in, Tiffany. I don't have an update at this time, but I wanted to acknowledge the recent requests here.

Is there a certain size of slide that you can use when making your Storyline block that can eliminate this? If not, then I would also request that this change be made.
Hi Leanna! Since Rise is responsive, the Storyline Block will have a different amount of padding depending on the size of the viewer's browser window. Another community member recommends using a 16:9 ratio in a 'small' width setting in this similar discussion. I'll open the floor for other community recommendations, too!

Any updates on this? I could really use this feature.

+1 the inconsistency with some blocks is really annoying, an update is really needed not only for this storyline block but some others too (background color of process block). I really don't understand why this takes so much time to update, just a small update with only these quality of life changes would make rise so much better.
