Understanding Scenes
Hello! I'm new to the Articulate world and am slowly learning how things work. I'm having trouble, however, fully understanding what scenes are, how they work, and why they're useful. Can anyone point me to a helpful webinar or explainer video to teach me a step-by-step in this area?

Hi, Ashley, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨
Thank you for your question!
A scene is a collection of slides, and you'd use it to organize your project. I like to think of scenes as chapters in a book (and the slides would be the pages in each chapter).
Scenes are beneficial not only for structuring and organizing but also for testing (you can preview a specific scene instead of an entire project), creating branching scenarios, and it helps you visualize your course.
Here are a few resources that might help you better understand scenes in Storyline:
- An overview of Storyline 360 (From our Training page - make sure you are logged in with your Articulate ID to watch it)
- Working with scenes in Storyline 360
