Hmm, this is certainly a puzzle. Technically closed captions shouldn't appear when you publish Storyline 360 content to video, according to this article.
Can you confirm that you followed these steps to publish your content to a MP4 video file?
- Go to the Home tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Publish.
- When the Publish window appears, select the Video tab on the left side of the window.
