Variables to lock/unlock course navigation
Hello! The main menu will instruct the user to select from either the open (unlocked) version of the course or the restricted/locked version. How can I set this up? Can I default the menu to locked ...

There are some discussions along the same line in this thread you might find useful. As far as I know, there is no global variable you could set to do this. From the thread below, you can see there are some other approaches but it appears it has been submitted as a feature request.
