Video Embed Issue

I am having a couple issues with an embedded video through my company's secured website. It appears to be correct when I preview the Rise course. When I export and view the file, all it exported was...

Hi Katie! Thanks for reaching out! Regarding the video being static, content. This is the expected behavior of the PDF export.

Since the embedded video can't be seen and is locked behind authentication, you can duplicate this course and remove that video block as a workaround when exporting it as a PDF. This should remove the authentication that is blocking you from seeing the rest of the course in the PDF.

Here's how the interactive parts of your Rise 360 course appear in the PDF file:

  • Hyperlinks work as expected and launch in your default web browser.
  • Audio clips, videos, and web objects become static placeholder images.
  • Interactions, such as labeled graphics and tabs, become a series of screenshots, one for each item in the interaction. (Each flashcard becomes two screenshots, one for the front and another for the back.)
  • A Storyline block becomes a screenshot of the first slide in the project.
  • Quiz lessons and knowledge check blocks display questions and answer choices. They don’t show correct/incorrect responses or feedback statements.
