Embed Vimeo is not working.
The Rise 360 multimedia embed is not working. We have attached Vimeo links, but when we try to play the video, we can hear it but cannot see anything.
Hi everyone!
Thanks for sticking with this conversation. We know this issue with embedded Vimeo content has been frustrating, and we appreciate you continuing to share what you’re seeing.
The good news: the provider has resolved the issue.
Most videos should now load normally without you needing to do anything.
If a video still doesn’t appear:
- Clear your browser cache.
- Reload the course.
That should restore normal viewing.
If you’re still running into trouble, let us know what you’re seeing. We’re here and want to make sure everything is working as it should.

Hello elearning2,
Thanks so much for reaching out! Our team is investigating this bug where Vimeo videos are not displaying as expected in Rise 360. I have added your voice to the existing bug report. I'd like to share this article on how we tackle bugs, for your reference.
As a workaround, you can try either of these:
- Use the video's embed block. Here's how you can find this info:
- Open the video in Vimeo.
- Right-click on it.
- Click "Copy embed block".
- Use that embed block to replace the video's URL in Rise.
- Advise your learners to play the video on Vimeo. This will open a new window or tab on their browser where they can play the video without issues.
We're sorry if this has been slowing you down. We'll be sure to share any future updates on a fix in this thread!

We have the same issue. For the past 5 years we've been able to use the short vimeo link(i.e., https://vimeo.com/7XXXXXXX). Once we switched the Rise Embed to use the full iframe code from vimeo it worked again. So far we've had to update about 60 lessons and have another 100 or so to go.

Hi all —
Thanks so much for your patience while we investigated this issue and worked to connect with our third-party provider.
In parallel, our team has been testing and implementing a fix on our end, which we initially enabled for customers on an ad hoc basis. Given the limited response from our provider, we made the decision this evening to roll that fix out to all customers.
With this update, you won’t need to manually change your Vimeo links. To apply the fix, simply republish your course.
We’ll continue exploring longer-term solutions and engaging with our provider on next steps. We’ll also keep this thread updated if anything further is needed.
Thanks again for flagging this and for sticking with us while we worked through it.Hi everyone!
