Vimeo Embed Issue
We are currently having issues with a Vimeo video embedded into a Rise course. When testing the course, this issue did not occur. However, the users have now reported this issue, and we have been able to replicate it on our end. There are at least a dozen Vimeo videos embedded in the course, and all others play normally. We have attempted different browsers, cleared caches, etc.

All of the videos we use in our Rise courses reside on Vimeo, so we have a lot of experience in this area.
I do not understand why you are seeing SharePoint and Microsoft online error messages. Why is there an attempt to connect to SharePoint if you are using a Vimeo embed code?

I have no idea, that is part of the issue I do not have an answer to. It is odd that these videos were fine during testing, but we are now experiencing an issue with only one of the videos.

I would open that specific block in Rise and look at the raw embed code. If the src contains sharepoint.com, stream.microsoft.com, office.com or a tenant name rather than player.vimeo.com, that is the whole problem. Replace it with the correct Vimeo embed.
If it does say player.vimeo.com, view the published output in a private/incognito window with the browser console open and check the network tab for what is redirecting to a Microsoft domain. That would be a decent start point to troubleshooting if you can share what you find. If you don’t have any privacy concerns you could also post the embed code here to aid trouble shooting… The error almost certainly suggests its not pointing at vimeo…
