Video not playing, shows green screen

I know this thread is a bit old, but I am working on a project in Storyline that incorporates branching video scenarios. Ran into the green screen issue stated here. I have a lot of slides in succession that have video. What I did was to insert a blank slide in between slides with video. I set a trigger to go to the next slide when the timeline starts so the learner won't see the blank slide. This appears (so far in my testing) to have solved this issue. The only caveat is that if the learner clicks on the next button on the player in quick succession, you will get the green screen after 3 or 4 clicks. I was already planning on creating custom previous and next buttons in the course and not use the player navigation. I will just set the navigation buttons to show at the end of the timeline.
