Vitesse de la synthèse vocale
Bonjour groupe,
Existe-t-il un moyen d'augmenter la vitesse de la synthèse vocale? Quelqu'un pourrait m'aider à trouver les instructions pour y arriver?
Merci infiniment!

Hello everyone,
Is there a way to increase the speed of speech synthesis? Could someone help me find instructions on how to do this?
Thank you very much!

Hi MaryseD! Are you using Storyline 360? You can control the speed of speech by using SSML tags. To control the speed of speech, you'll use <prosody>.
This article explains how to use SSML tags! Let us know if you have additional questions!

Hi MaryseD Hi LaurenDuvall This only applies to neural or standard voices, which are absolutely awful and unusable in French (as we both know, Maryse). Not yet to AI-generated voices. Unfortunately.
Hello ThierryEMMANUEL,
I appreciate you sharing your voice with us! I’ve shared your feedback with our product team, and we’ll keep you posted here with any updates. Your input helps us keep improving.

Thanks for your reply and comments ThierryEMMANUEL AND LaurenDuvall ,the AI voices are super GREAT, I really appreciate the French Canadian accent (because I'm Québec, Canada ;0) Not a lot of choice with that accent, but I agree with you Thierry, better then the standard voices. I can't wait for an update in AI to be able to control the speed.
Other question: Within the AI functionnalities, is there a way to add other voices both male and female with the Canadian accent? thanks

Oh MaryseD Je n'avais pas remarqué votre accent québécois à l'écrit. 😁

Très drôle ThierryEMMANUEL , je suis québécoise pure souche, mais je protège ma langue autant que possible. 😊

We, Frenchy, know and admire your long struggle to protect the French language against Globish. And keep your accent! Once, a nice guy picked me up hitchhiking near Lac Saint-Jean and we got talking. I did NOT understand a single word. I still smile when I think back on that anecdote.
